In Osaka, the one called Super Sentou (“hot spring” in Japanese,) is loved by the locals there. You can also experience the stone sauna style.

🌸Kyoto Arashiyama Hanatouro 2017

Fall season is one of the beautiful seasons that you can discover its absolute beauty in Japan. The viewing of autumn leaves is called 紅葉狩り(momijigari) in Japanese.

Japanese art and culture has a deep and enduring relationship with the changing of the seasons. Just as the blooming of cherry blossoms is celebrated during hanami season (cherry blossom viewing) in March and April, so are the autumn colors enjoyed in the fall, usually in mid to late November, before the onset of winter and the coming of the plum blossoms in February.

✿Banpaku Kinen Park (Osaka)

A pleasant moment in a huge park

The park is located in an area, that the Japanese Exposition held in 1970, and covers 2,600,000 square meters. There is also the monument made for the Fair, Tower of the Sun, still keeps attracting many people today. It is said that the whole part of the park/garden has about 10,000 trees, and 20 kinds of color. You can enjoy the color changing.

✿Mt. Kongo (Osaka)

The superb view from the ropeway

The gondola journey will take you to nearby the top of the highest peak in Osaka, Mt. Kongo, for 6 minutes. After getting off the car, you can walk around the hiking area (about 30 min walk). The forest in fall with its wonderful color could be one of the most beautiful scenery that you have ever seen in your Japan trip!

✿Osaka Castle (Osaka)

In the front of Osaka Castle, the fall leaves have been growing since 300 years before. The length of the leaves street is about 1 kilometer. Again, this will be an amazing view by watching the trees changing its color.

✿Koudai Temple (Kyoto)

 

Illumination and mystical reflection of the leaves in the water

Hideyoshi Toyotomi was a very important historical warrior. His wife built the temple to hold a memorial service for his death in the 17th Century in Japan. The temple, the dead body storage at the time, the tea ceremony room… every building is still remain as they were. The beautiful garden is also said to have been made by Ensyu Kobori, a Japanese daimyo, architect, tea maker, such a talented historical person. The view with the scenery and the leaves is splendid.

✿Kitano Tenma Palace (Kyoto)

The reflection of the fall leaves in the water

Kitano Temma Palace is famous for the plum trees and autumn leaves. On the west side of the palace, there is a historical spot called Odoi with over 300 leaves and a few old trees that have been here for more than 350 years. The Japanese noble/scholar/politician, Michizane Sugawarano, loved these beautifully colored trees.

✿Mt. Rokko (Hyogo)

Fall leaves from Mt. Rokko

The mountain is wide and spread from Takarazuka to Suma, east to west. In Mt. Rokko, fall is the most beautiful season of the year. It would be very convenient to use the transportation system called “Rokko Ropeway” that can take you to Arima Onsen, which is one of the most famous hot springs in Japan. The 12 min fly is wonderfully beautiful. We also recommend cycling there as well.

A famous grass place in the west of Japan, Tonomine Plateau. The land is as much as 90 hectares and makes us comfortable and relaxed.

The massive scale of the mountain and the grass shining, it is worth watching. You can also take a walk on the grassland.
