From middle of May to June is rosy season in Japan.
Today I am going to introduces you most recommended rose site in Kansai area.
TOP3 Suma Rikyu Park (Hyogo Pref.) Rose Garden of Princes and Lords
Suma Rikyu Park is the area where it was used to be a vacation house of emperor. You can still feel sense of royal atmosphere. Rikyu literally means away imperial villa.
It is now a well known site to see 4,000 beautiful roses and Osaka Harbor. How Romantic! There are 180 kinds of roses.
Many of roses are named after royals and famous men, you could even learn history while seeing those roses.
In this season “Spring Rose Festival” is held and many people visit there.
Time to see：Mid of May ～ Mid of July
Opening hours：9 am ～ 5 pm (Closed on Thursday. If Thursday was a national holiday, closed on next weekday)

TOP2 Utsubo Park (Osaka Pref.)
Rose garden of Ustubo Park has one of the oldest history in Osaka city. It was renewed in 2008.
It is so marvelous that it was nominated for Award of Garden Excellence in World Rose Convention held in Osaka.
Large garden with various kinds of roses, with big waterfall in its center, has been popular relaxing spot for locals.
During rose season, festival is held with shishimai (Lion Dance) and concerts.

TOP1 Aramaki Rose Park (Hyogo Pref.)
This Rose garden is one of the biggest garden in Kansai area.
10,000 roses of 250 kinds, is beyond your imagination.
It is quite rare to find this size of garden near city.
Park is structured upon embankment, thus you can see roses from different angle and height.
You must see Amatsu Otome and Madame Violet, which are the local breed.
Time to see：Mid of May ～ Mid of June, Mid of October ～ Mid of November
Opening Hours：9 am ～ 5 pm (Between 15th May and 30th June, closed at 6 pm)
